Centre for Media Monitoring is bringing our most popular workshops online!

What can YOU do about the portrayal of Muslims and Islam in the Media? You can help CfMM promote fair and responsible reporting of Muslims and Islam in the media, by reducing inaccurate and misleading reporting. To date, we have secured hundreds of changes and logged many successful complaints.

But how can you do it?

This workshop explores the narratives commonly used in reporting on Islam and Muslims and then takes participants through the steps to make effective complaints to both print and broadcast media watchdogs. The sessions are practical with hands-on experience using real examples.
