Jannah
In Islamic eschatology, Jannah refers to the garden of Paradise, a place where righteous Muslims will be sent as an eternal reward for good behaviour in the mortal life.
How this term should be used
Jannah should be rendered into English as ‘Paradise’ and not ‘Heaven’, as the concept of heaven in Islam is different.
