How this term should be used
The term in its Arabic form has not been used recently in the Western media from initial searches. It is likely to be used as a quotation and if used should be translated as ‘Afterlife’ with the possible addition of “as according to Islamic scripture and teaching.”
In Islamic eschatology, Allah will resurrect the dead on the Day of Judgment and determine who goes to Jannah (Paradise), who to Jahanum (Hell). The basis of this determination will be made on the basis of the “degree to which one has affirmed the unity and justice of God, acted with mercy and justice toward others, and been ethically responsible.”
